Q　Collet chuck is stuck quite hard.  Are there any little tricks to loosen it?

A　Please refer to the following procedures;

1. Please turn the set ring hard to R- direction(be able to release the tool).
   Place the chuck wrench as shown.
2. Loosen and remove the collet chuck by turning the chuck wrench.
     *if you can not loosen the collet chuck, tap lightly the chuck wrench with a small hammer as shown.
3. Set a new collet chuck.
4. Tighten the collet chuck with chuck wrench.【Warnings】
   (1)Be sure to insert a blank bur into the collet chuck before changing.
   (2)Do not change the collet chuck if the set ring is set on S-direction.(collet chuck is tightly closed)
   (3)Do not turn the set ring from R-direction to S-direction while changing.

Q　I purchased my handpiece over 25years ago.  It fits comfortably in my hand and very useful.
I lost my collet chuck and wrench.  Is there any change to collet chuck part’s number?   
Is it possible to buy collet chucks and wrenchs? 

A　Regarding to the collet chuck part’s number, we haven’t changed.  Please refer to the followings;

2.35mm ＫＰ－０３６Ｂ
3.00mm ＫＰ－０３２Ｂ
3.175mm ＫＰ－０３３Ｂ

The wrench type differ by handpiece.
Check the model number of your handpiece then consult  your local suppliers for purchasing.

Ｑ　I would like to use Φ2.34mm tools.  Is it possible?

Ａ　You can use φ2.34mm tools after changing the collet chuck to φ2.34mm. 
For how to change the collet chuck, please refer to the FAQs  “how to change the collet chuck”.
If you need to purchase a φ2.34mm collet chuck, please consult your supplier.

Ｑ　Which handpiece do you recommend for Egg Craft?  I am looking for a small and light-weigh motor with less vibration. 

Ａ　We recommend G3 Portable micro motor set.

Ｑ　Do you sell any cuticle pushers attachable to URAWA’s handpieces?

Ａ　Yes, we sell the cuticle pusher as an optional item.  Please consult your supplier.

Ｑ　How do you hold the handpiece for 2week fill-in or 4week fill-in with long nails?

Ａ　To reach the new C-curve,  Hold the handpiece with the angle of 20 degrees instead of parallel to the finger.
※Do not over grind.  1／3 from the top nail is sufficient.

Ｑ　Do you sell a handpiece drill stand?

Ａ　Unfortunately, we don’t sell one.

Ｑ　What is the difference between UC500C and UC250C?

Ａ　UC500C is possible to connect two handpieces at the same time.  UC250C have one connector.  We recommend UC500C for heavy-duty grinding.

Ｑ　Overload red lamp comes on while using the handpiece.  Why?

Ａ　The circuit breaker works for the protection when the machine heats up due to overuse or applying  improper extra force to the handpiece.  As a safety device, the overload red lamp lights up and circuit breaker cut off the power to the handpiece temporarily.  
If the red lamp lights up, turn the speed volume to MIN then turn off the power switch.  Please wait until the machine cools off.

Ｑ　I can not to turn the set ring to change the tool.

Ａ　It appears to be no bur is inserted to the collet chuck and set ring is set on S-side tightly.  If so, turn the set ring to R-side with a piece of rubber sheet as hard as possible.

Ｑ　I dropped the handpiece with tool is on.   The tool is broken and the piece was left inside.  I can not to take it out.

Ａ　To take the broken piece of tool out, you need a special tool.  Also, the inside parts of handpiece could be damaged by dropping.  Please consult your supplier for the service.

Ｑ　The curl cord is damaged.

Ａ　It is possible to change only the curl cord.  Please consult your supplier for the service.
